The Pesado Clump Crusher is a WDT tool for puck prep. Its purpose is to crush clumps that were formed during the grinding process. When grinding coffee, clumps often build, and while this may happen more often with somewhat cheaper grinders, the most expensive grinders are not exempt, either. The lighter a roast, the finer you can go with the grind, which increases the chance of clumps building. The Clump Crusher is a simple and nice-looking solution for this issue and helps to increase your espresso extraction by avoiding channelling. A stand for the clump crusher can be purchased separately.
The wood version (Raya) is constructed a little different (visible on the pictures) and has slightly thicker pins. It is also quite a bit lighter in weight than the other colorways.
