The Svart Nymalt CGWS-130B by the Norwegian producer Wilfa stands out with its simplicity and unique design. The compact, automated grinder is able to grind coffee for all filter preparation methods – may it be French Press, Hand Drip (V60, Chemex, Kalita, Origami, etc.) or Aeropress – as well as others. The grind settings are too coarse, however, for espresso. This grinder is specifically designed for filter coffee so it should not be used to grind coffee for a portafilter espresso machine or other methods that require very finely ground coffee.

The stainless steel burrs are durable, the plastic cover stable. The grinding level can be adjusted in 34 steps. A symbol that indicates the brewing method helps to find the right grinding size for each method. This grinder has just a tiny space between the burrs and the outlet for ground coffee. This means that it is easier to adjust the grinding level and less coffee is wasted. A built-in timer helps to consistently dose ground coffee.
