The BOOSTER was developed in Spain near Barcelona by the coffee startup Sibarist together with Matt Winton (2021 World Brewers Cup Champion).

The Booster is a revolutionary piece of coffee brewing equipment. It is a tool to increase the extraction strength and the drawdown flow of your brews using flatbed drippers (e.g. Kalita) in combination with any flatbed filters or cone-shaped drippers (e.g. Hario V60)  in combination with the Sibarist Hybrid filters.

Sitting between your filter and the brewer, the Booster 45 for flatbed drippers drastically increases contact points under the bed, right where we want to have most of our coffee flow through the filter, in a very even way. This increases the drawdown speed and the potential for a higher extraction without channeling.

Expect brews without bitterness or dryness, even at very high extraction yields, allowing you to grind finer and brew sweeter, richer and probably better cups without changing your brewer – just by adding the Booster under your paper filter.

The mesh of the Booster 22 adds the contact points and flow rate you need at the bottom of the cone brewer. The rigidity of the paper and the addition of the mesh mean you have more contact points and a more even flow through the whole paper filter. The hybrid-cone/flat-design allow for a whole new taste experience compared to traditional cone brews.
